You are invited to become a contributing editor of DigitalAuthor.com! As an editor, you can write your own monthly column about digital content topics that interest you; as a reviewer you can provide other readers with hands-on examples of what's good and/or bad about new products.
As of July 2001 there is, unfortunately, no pay involved in being a contributing editor.
We do, however, provide an outlet for your creative muse which can lead to bigger and better things. We can also provide exposure for your skills and client projects, and reviewers generally get to keep the products they review (software).
If you're not interested in writing for this online publication, but perhaps do have an interesting client project to promote in the field of digital content development, please let us know.
Please contact us for more information on becoming a contributing editor.
Intern Position
We do have an intern position open which pays a small stipend of $20 per month to write and edit news items based on press releases for our Industry News page. Intern would need to add up to five new items per week to our news section using a standard HTML editor; and the story byline would be that of the intern.
Promotion Plans
In order to increase our audience/readership as quickly as possible DigitalAuthor.com has made arrangements to be listed on dozens of software publisher Web sites, other magazine sites in the multimedia field, and we're running a half-page ad in the premiere issue of CrossMedia magazine (July/Aug. 2001).
